Default Bravo 1 Drive Models and Serial Numbers

Hi Everyone,

I've started work on my first real project boat ( 400HP Donzi Sweet 16), and it already has the gimbal installed for a Bravo 1 (and X dim raised). I've since been drive shopping the past few weeks, hoping to find a good deal on a good condition used drive.

My question would be: since I am not in a rush, are there any Bravo 1 model years (generational improvements) that are better than others, and any to stay away from if maximum performance is a desired result? I understand this is extremely picky.... just figured that if I am in no rush to get the drive I might as well take my time to get a good one.

I found one for sale which seems to look very good on the outside, on a boat that sat, plus it comes with a mirage stainless prop. If it helps get info with, the serial number is: OF304157.

If there are any computer-savy users out there I would really appreciate if someone would be willing to look up the serial number for the manufacture date etc....

Hope someone that does know chimes in aside from calling Mercury.
All the parts lookups I'm aware of list parts by drive serial number range.
As far as I'm aware those listings don't really decipher what year the drive is.
