New trim pump not pumping
#2
Try disconnecting the lines from the pump and running it. If you hooked up the pump to the existing lines and they had fluid in them...then filled the pump up with fluid...you may have an air pocket trapped in the pump head and the fluid in the lines is acting like a plug and not letting the air pass through the pump head. Disconnect both hyd lines...and run the pump both directions to bleed the air and hopefully that solves your issue. You will probably need to run system a few times up and down to full tilt to get all the air out of the system afterwards as well.

I had installed the pump and filled with fluid and before I connected the lines I attempted to cycle just to make sure it was a good unit .
Motor would run but no fluid at all coming out . All of us know a good pump will shoot out a stream across a room if not connected to a line .
I had taken a a short video to post on here but apparently I need to upload to YouTube and add link according to Griff as I PM’d him asking why I couldn’t upload video .
i removed pump and another is supposed to arrive today .
I guess I’m not up with the times in having a YouTube account .
