Dremel Trio with the guilde adaptor to make a perfect circles. Depending on location and room to use it. Done a bunch of them with it, I will add..
You can also buy the correct size hole saws as well but they can get expensive, the bigger diameter the more they cost. |
Are you guys talking about new holes or existing holes needed enlargement? I'm curious about the latter, need to fit some 7.7's where 6.5's went.

Am I crazy? I use a 6 or 7 inch hole saw. A perfectly round opening. I thought this was the only way.
How do you guys cut thru the vinyl without tearing it to shreds with a jigsaw? |
I use a single armed adjustable hole saw. I cut a piece of wood to span the opening from the inside. Then I find the center and mark it. I center the hole saw on the X and go to town.
20 years of audio experience has taught me that tip. A perfect hole every time. |
