I usually just play Pandora or us an Ipod.. could I use this instead of a head unit??

Really wanted to.see what it did that a head unit wouldn't do but bloatwear on my phone must be hungry tonight .Ido the same thing and use a audiocontrol 2xs, run straight to amps .can fine tune the soul back into music that's lost sometimes being compressed then replayed on phone format ,simple controls ,won't interface with your phone ,but just needs 12v and will split your phones headset jack into 4 RCA outs plus sub control .even a cheapie eclipse 99$ equalizer with a RCA aux input will do almost as much ,worth a look if you have subs and amps

That would work but it's made by dual. IE it's crap.

What would be your reason for going with this unit?
