The 300.4 is a great 4 channel amp for the money used. The gain pots dont like moisture and often can cause a channel to drop but easily restored with some electronic cleaner and running the gain adj back forth with the pocket screwdriver. Alpine back in the day was very good , those mrv line of amps are somewhat gutless , especially without the cabin gain in boat . Those plastic boat subs can withstand the punishment of shipping better than the stamped metal ones. Christmas came early for you . Buy the slash and easy to tune subs, yank the alpine amps out and sell , grab a 100$ jbl class d for the 10s run the cockpits off hu and disconnect the bench coaxials. Keep for spares. Run the slash at 4 ohms .make sure the alpines are at least half azz sealed up (most are not) ill bet you will be blown away by the low buck upgrade . You prob get quick hundred back on those 2 alpine amps

The subs are the higher end for infinite baffle use.
The amp is an older 300/4 Slash series I used for 4) 7.7's. I replaced the subs with one for a sealed box use. The amp I replaced with an HD600/4. The amp did drop a channel a few times. Maybe once or twice a yr for a couple min. then back on. Might have been speaker wiring. Didn't really look into it. It was always the same speaker that cut out. Wanted bigger amp, so out it came. I assume it could be used as a single channel to power both subs. I used a 250/1 for both subs. I'd sell subs and amp for $200 plus shipping.Shoot me a pm if interested.
I would be interested in the subs if they are not spoken for. Tried to PM you, no workey....

I've used two subwoofers in my home theater for a long time….after several articles on four subs I finally had to try it or bust…I'm almost sorry…I'll never be able to go bact. The best bass I've ever heard movies, music.. all sound incredible. With new lows and smoothness I've never experienced before. I have two Signature Paradigm subs and two Paradigm 2200's hooked up. There is a satisfying low and fullness of sound with no gaps with the bass in the room and its like listening to my blu-rays and dvds for the first time again and I've always used the 50 hz crossover…80 hz and above has never worked for me…but I do have full range front speakers that take care of the 50 hz and above frequencies very well. Avatar and u-571 sound incredible. It's a good thing I know how to hang pictures and anything else on the wall really good or I'd have some problems. I'm not sure about the foundation but who cares. I love the sound..thats what matters. I highly recommend it for anyone who loves great low and smooth bass.
