Gaffrig liquid filled monster speedo gauge is leaking HELP!

Called livorsi and they don't repair the old gauges. Will this speedo still work after the liquid is gone and what are my options?

It should still work...the Glycerine that's in there is to keep the needle steady so its easier to read...also takes the shock load from the internal parts so less likely to break from bouncing......there should be a rubber plug on the back of the gauge you can pop out and re-fill.....you can get Glycerine at most any drug store...

Your speedo will still work without the oil. The only difference will be that you would see more needle bounce. I have an old Gaffrig speedo if you are interested. It's in great shape.

Mine are the blue rimmed monster gauges with a 100 mph speedo. Has anybody had success resealing them after refilling them with glycerin? Maybe a thin bead of silicone around the inside edge of the bezel?
