was told any mercmonitor will work, but most likely (mercmonitor smart tow) is better option

got a part # 879338K51 mercmonitor smart tow, keeps coming up w/ a different number.

#84-879982T-20 called a blue line 20 ft. from engine to dash

84-892452T01 gender harness from blue line to mercmonitor.

don't want nema, gateway, backbone, don't want to upgrade to garmin or simrad or anything.
would just like the mercmonitor to be the engine gauge ,buzzer/beeper, gaurdian alarm
and whatever the 496 is wired for and what below part # will give me.

79-8M0062377 for 339.00 on ebay sounds good to me.

looking for a good ebay store or online or on phone to get this ordered, looking for any advice or knowledge on the subject
maybe the first part # has been superseded,
local dealer is not an option parts guy doesn't know which one works and won't call merc
says i'm the only guy in the world who still has an i/o.
