I'm repowering, and I have run into a snag.
Started with a plane jane Mercruiser 454, carburated and simple. I just bought a 7.4L MPI Horizon and the guy kept the v-drive because i don't need one. It came out of a twin engine boat, and this is where the problem is. There is a load anticipation circuit in the wiring, and from what i have read, it controls the rpm sync. Now that it is a stand alone engine, how do I bypass it or will it be ok to run without the sensor? The sensor was on the back of the v-drive along with a few others, and that is the only thing I cannot figure out how to either reroute or do away with.
