ICM 806960-3 electronic control module thunverbolt V
I have a thunderbolt V, 806960-3 electronic control module
what is the RPM cutoff, does anybody have the documentation for these modules? what is P.T.?? https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...e8136bee11.png what engine is the P.T. for? bravo mag Alpha Thanks for your help, any and all Info is welcome. I made a 454 gen V with about 9.5 compression, vortec Head large oval ports, 100cc chambers, flat top pistons, with 01-445-8 comp cams. It is a roller block, with no mechanical fuel pump, it is marked with a sticker 2006 crate engine manufacturer for gm. |
The Rev Limter for a 7.4 will kick in around 4750-4800rpms

Thanks Griff! I was hoping to get 5000+ rpm, was shooting for 5400, cam, intake, exhaust, head work.
I'll go with the thunderbolt IV v8 24 to find my max rpm after breaking it in. If it's around 4750, I will use the thunderbolt V, if it's around the 5000+ I'll have to stick with the thunderbolt IV. I would still like to know what engine model the P.T. is. I did locate the wiring diagram. |
A TB V module from a carbed HP500 rev limit would be 5400ish.

I have a IV. pretty sure no rev limit on it. Make an offer if interested

V8-24
I studied the Tb IV bbc profiles, I decided to go with the v8-24, and don't have v8-24s and the v8-24r and the 350s' v8-22a
The v8-24 seems aligned with my build, but I was thinking the TB V with advance/retard adjustment will be Interestingly enough. My compression is ~9.5, I want to run 90 octane. I have 2 of the v8-24 and non of the others, pm me your model and price. |
you can also drop a delco est distributor in with a coil and it will rock we use a ton of them and they are super reliable and very hot spark the high idle timing is what most engines love
