Presently have a 4 battery set up. 2 stand alone group 31 wet cell deep cycles as a dedicated stereo supply. They get charged on land via the Pro Marine 4 bank charger.
Then I have 2 batteries for the engine, lights, bilge pump, etc... on a 1, 2, and combine selector switch.
The little Mando 55A alt has been replaced with a Mechman 180A marine and I'm trying to figure out the best route to take.
Just curious what others are doing for wiring of their batteries?

Damn, son! What all on your system?
I am simply using (2) Group 24 AGM batteries from Odyssey - dual purpose versions. The stereo feeds off battery #2. It gets recharged off my NOCO two bank 10 amp charging whilst docked. This has proven to be more than enough for the 3 amps I am running; (2) 800 watt Audio Control amps and a 500 watt Polk. These power (6) HERTZ 6.5" speakers and (2) 10" JL Audo M6 subs. I've coved out and jammed to tunes for 5 or 6 hours without an issue.

You pretty much have the same config as I do presently.
(4) JL 6.5" in the bow
(4) JL 6.5" in the cockpit
(2) JL 8.8 in the rear bench of the cockpit
(2) Wet Sounds 10" tower speakers
(1) JL M6 12" sub under the helm
(1) JL 13" sub in the engine compartment
JL M800/8 driving all the 6.5"
JL MHD 750/1 driving the M6 12"
JL MHD 600/4 driving the 8.8"
Wet Sounds syn 6 driving the 10" tower speakers and 13" sub in the back
I'm not trying to be the loudest boat on the water. I just want to hear it while we are under way.
