Cat man do gave you the right advise. Change the gear in you drive to 1,50 and that should take care of your roll-over problem. Then you should be able to handle bigger props to handle what ever you want to do.. Either out of the hole,Mid range or Top end. you pick the Pitch..

I just got the boat, it is under warranty. I don't want to change gears and than have mercury deny warranty if I had any problems. Does any one have a stock 24 pitch bravo or labbed 26 for sale?

you can do plenty with the props before you start tearing into your drive. You can drop pitch or decrease diam.,hopefully you can find some one to let you try one of their spares ,before dropping coin on the wrong one.A good dealer will usually let you try one, on the" you break it you by it" plan.

went down to a 24 pitch and I got top spped was same and rpms went to 5000. I had 4 people in boat and half tanks of gas and twice I tried and could not get on plane. The third time it got up and ran fine. I unloaded i person and it would plane fine after that. I just have never had a boat that the rpms would not come up when you hammered it.

You know ,I vaguely remember having a prop with holes in the side, three holes total, a little smaller then a dime, evenly spaced, one between each blade ,to help the prop cavitate.I guess it would bleed exhaust out the holes ,or let air in there .Either way, this could be a big help with your set up.
