Default Eliminator Eagle 280 Xp

I am looking at a 1999 eagle. How do they do in rough water. Anyone know the degree of v of the hull. It has a single 502.

Thanks,

Cris

I don't know the degree of the v, but it isn't a real deep v. It does ok, but I don't have tabs. If your talking normal waves it does good and handles very well and you always feel safe. I do have hydraulic steering which helps a lot.
What kind of rough water are you talking about. At loto during the shootout and 10,000 other boats it seems like to small of a boat, but then I think any 28ft boat would.
A friend has a 28 Nordic that is much deeper and takes bigger water better, but he also has tabs. If he lifts his tabs, he can't really do much better in rough water.
Are you looking at buying one?
