When the boat is in the water the transom sets lower from the weight of the engine, so any water in the bilge stays in the bilge. When you pull the boat out of the water without draining it on the ramp and then get the boat level or even slightly down hill the water from the bilge runs the center v all the way up to the cabin "via a little tube" and then you have standing water or wet carpet. The ski locker always gets wet also if you hadn't all ready noticed. It's just the way the boat was built, so you must drain on the ramp every time you pull out or this will happen. Or you can plug the little tube with a cork or something, but then when you get water in the boat it won't drain through to the bilge.

I have plugged both of the weep holes before i pulled it out of the water. And i have drained the bilge while on the ramp. It dosen't seem to help. It is a little more than a moiste carpet. it is like 14 gallons of water. I know this because i take a shop vac and clean it after every time i come home. It seems magical but i know it is just something i havent found yet. Also i am wondering what this is doing to my top speed? I thought of the pedo tube but i unplugged it and it still happens!!

I have a similar problem. I keep chocking it up to my cooler ice melting. But it is too much for just ice. I had the holes sealed between my bilge and my ski lockers but there is always about a gallon or two of water. Not a big deal, just a pain to get out after a weekend.
