This looks like the boat I'm looking for! I've been seriously thinking about the Daytona 25, but it was a little to big and a bit out of my price range (I'm a small to mid-size lake boater). This boat has got me very excited.

I'm also looking for any additional info/specs on this boat (Eliminator's site just has pics). My main concern is how much difference in price between the Daytona 25 and the Daytona 22 comparably equipped with a 496HO? I hope there is enough of a price difference to justify the smaller hull.

Thanks!

Thanks Marty - I'll give you a call next week!

What speeds would ya'll expect to see out of the Daytona 22 with a 496HO? And what does the Daytona 25 do with the same engine?

I thought I'd revive this thread as I searched and couldn't find anything new regarding the new 22 Daytona. So has anyone bought one of these yet? I'm on the hunt for another boat and looking for feedback on this beauty. I'm convinced on how it looks, but just wondering how it actually performs. Also, anyone know the current prices on a blue 525 vs the 496ho powered units?

Thanks

Here's a pic of the 22's we took to Daytona for the Pepsi 400. The blue model had the 496HO and the red one was 300SX powered.

Blue was sold and the wacker can be had for around $85k. We're working on the right gears/prop to max the performance.

Another shot/angle...
