Well, I have new info now. I put an LM1 to tune it and found that tach at 5720 with my 28 pitch. Still only ran 94 but with only 6psi. Cant tell if the nose cone helped or now . Maybe. Ill keep ya posted. greg

Well I finally tool the plunge & bought the Whipple after a year of waiting for results from others that have gone through the growing pains of isntalling one on the 496 MAG HO. I'll post Pics as the install occurs. Anyone have any idea how fast I can expect the 26 Eagle to run with the Whipple & MAG HO combo?

I know that 550 horsepower in a 25 eagle, with the right prop equals about 83-84. So, if the 26 is a bit heavier, then you might lose a couple mph due to weight. But, if i had to guess, with the right prop, i'd say at least 82 in your case? You DID buy a new prop, eh? AND, get ready to chine walk..seems like the eagles start doing it at almost 80 on the dot....

HEY SHUMACHER!! Love the info on the eagle you posted, what a sweet boat. I have basically the same rig, only my problem is the chine walking issue...did the tabs "help" or FIX the issue? I'm thinkin good call on the lower motor setting, i think this should be done on all eagles. At 80-82 my boat with standard setup is REAL scary. Do you think the tabs at 0 will help this??

Hey HP junkie...what did you mean about sharpening up the bottom? explain please?? My eagle has the same issues...
