What do you think about this boat. I am looking at a used one that I found through a dealer. Some people say it's too much power for that boat. What would be your best guestimate on top speed, 95? Looking for your thought's overall before I purchase it.

I have 496ho's and did 80 today with 8 people aboard and 26p props you could prolly get over 100mph with 575's my boat felt pretty stable at 80 btw.

Have you taken that boat into the ocean, to catalina or anything? If so, how does it run/handle the ocean?

yes i have, been to catalina twice in it the first time was a bad experience i came back to late in the evening and the wind picked up at that point any boat of any size was having a hard time. You shouldnt have a problem just check the weather or boat early in the day. The last time i was there was for bucaneer days I spent the night came back to long beach the next morning around 9am and averaged around 60mph the whole way back. The water wasnt to ruff.
