Sounds like both of your insurance rates are pretty good, gives me some hope of not paying $2500 a year for an HO like I keep hearing (27, single, no cat experience) :drink:
I wonder if having the 25 over the 26 makes a difference? |

Alot has to do with the overall length to horsepower ratio. so in many cases a 26 would be cheaper than a 25. Another major factor is overall cost of the boat they are insuring.
All I know is one person I've spoke with who does high performance boats wouldn't even quote me for a 26 with an HO, and I've been waiting for over 2 weeks to get a quote from my current insurance guy.:eek: Looks like I need to call Elton Porter for sure, but I've just been taking my time looking as it's too far in this "summer" here in MI to buy now anyways. |
