Anyone have one? what type of fastners are you using? I have a 30 open bow and would like to have a cover made for the front open area when Im making hi-speed passes. Just curious what others are using.

I have to take my cushions out when i'm on it.Lost one at over 100 one day.It was like slow motion. It lifted straight up horizontal and went about a foot above the canopy tops. Was funny at the time but it could have been bad. They weigh a bit.Makes you think.

So far, I havent had any cushions come loose. I have had a few cup holder fly by head, got this fixed, but The amount of wind going thru the cuddy makes things in there move around a bit. So I was hoping to get something covering the bow that would hold the speeds. It also serve as a rain cover as I want to add a cockpit cover as well.

I have a snap on cover but it flaps too much an drives me crazy. At 35-45 it is all over the place, hate to see what would happen if it started to come unsnaped.
As far as speed. I talked to the owner of Q's boat that had the bow rider right after he had it installed, he said he only lost about 3 mph after. With my walk thru I am thinking I am losing about 10mph due to the wind coming thru the walk thru and running into the rear seat, and extra weight in the front.

Everyone says different things about the speed. I have a friend with a 30, same power and there is only 2 mph difference. But alot of that has to do with drive ratio and props. Im sure I could tweak 1 or 2 more mph out of it, but if everything goes as planned, if it doesnt sell, then a lil more power will get me where I want to be with the boat. either way Im gonna see about adding a cover. been checking into a few options.
