Cat, i had to make a stainless plate that bolts to the upper cav plate.Extends 5" past and 1" downturned on the sides.Can't get up without it.

The IMCO upper has the wide cav. plate I think this helps me alot. I had 5 people and 2 full ice chest in the boat and I got it up on plane but I couldnt let it get over 3200 rpms or it would blow the prop out. What size blower do you have?

540/871.Dynoed @ 888hp.I tried to shorten my plate and had serious issues getting up.Went back to the full length and never a problem.I'll send a pic if you want.

On my 27,propshaft 1/2" below the lowest point of the sponsons i can't get up without this.

Very cool. What size blower do you have? I have a 1071 on mine but Im looking to upgrade to a 1471 just dont know if it will fit under the hatch.
