Eliminator 234 Edge
Just wondering if anyone had feedback on the hull design? I"ve never seen one run, or knew of anyone that owned one.
Thanks. |

Well that's encouraging I guess. Hopefully they weren't removed from production because of any kind of design flaw I hope.
I've heard good and bad, so I was just wondering what the sentiment was over here. Thanks for the insight. |

Thanks for the replies,...
Is the Mod-VP Edge a relatively fast hull? To me, anything over 80 mph is moving pretty good. Would they be safe at that speed, and is that a resonable goal for this hull? |
mine had a 454 mag with a 250 b&m on it nickerson dominator ran in the 80-87 mph range dep. on load bought that boat when I started to look for a 27 daytona took me 10 more years to find the it ran the edge on lake MI , lake st clair , lake george fl. was a rock solid boat

Hi, New to offshore only.
I have an Edge 234 1992. It cuts the chop better than any v-bottom i've been in but not as well as my friends Daytona 25. We run on Lake Shasta in Ca. 18 to 24" wind chop isn't uncommon. It has a bowtie block bored to 4.50 that makes it 508.93 inch. cast # 10051107 with Ross flat top pistons. Stock GM Hi-perf Iron head square port #14096188 116 cc that makes it 8.5:1 compression ratio. A cam that I don't have any info on other than it isn't roller but is plenty lumpy at idle. roller rockers. 850 double Holly, MSD, EMI Thunder exhaust. Bravo one 1.36 ratio. 22 pitch 4 blade. The boat runs low fuel and one person at 82 mph GPS at 700' elevation @ 5550 rpms. A Very stable, fast, good looking boat imo. Thanks.. AWL INN~ |
It was a great boat/hull back in the day.... Now days,, the boats are just so much bigger.....
But I think its a great boat... |
