Default Challenger Offshore boats ????

Anyone know anything about these Challenger Offshore boats ? I guess they went out of business last year and my buddy was looking at one yesterday for sale. I went with him and the finish out didnt look that great so I was wondering if anyone knows any "insider" info about them.

Thanks

I took 1 out couple years back for a test run. They were price driven boat company and i thought boat rigging finishing and handling sucked. Whats a 3 year old boat that is out of business really worth? just my 2 cents

They raced a 28 and it actually did quite well, not sure about build quality.

Default Challenger Offshore Boats

I'll let you all know how they run this spring. i'm waiting delivery of a 2006 Challenger 31i DDC. She's got an Ilmor 550 HP v10, Teaque XR drive. If anyone has any info on the boats i would appreciate a message. I've heard anywhere from 67 to 83 MPH in a great sloppy water running boat. I don't even know the actual weight and had to guess at a prop pitch[ 4 blade 26"
