Default Hot Boat article on the 100+ Eliminator

That is bull****. Yes, it probably went 103.2 mph..but look at the boat. Nothing...I mean nothing in the engine compartment, probably only had 5 gal of gas in each take, one driver that weighed 75 lb and wind blowing up his ass at 40 mph and min safety gear. Remember the article with Bob Leach in a 33 ft model said 113.2 mph. HAHAHAHA

Enticer,
Come-on,give them a break. Dont be too hard on them. After-all it makes good reading, Just stop and think, Who are the big advertisers in the performance magazines? Can you think of a better way to sell products and magazines? If you spent enough on advertising, and you wanted people to think you could walk on water, I'm sure it would be printed that you could..

But what do I know?

Jim, I would have to agree with you . I feel that boats have become like computers. When you buy one this year, they will tell you it is obsolete in a year from now and the new bottom is so much better. I really think that all MFG's are doing that. You would think they would find the right combination and stick to it, but I really doubt that they do as much testing as they say . I guess I am getting sinicle in my old age. I think we all know what it takes to get a boat to 100mph. It aint easy . i am just glad i finally got mine to the century mark .

eliminator219.....I understand what you are saying. But it is just a very big peeve with me anymore. Manufactures will tell you anything for the almighty dollar....mainly from your pocket to THEIR'S. I tried that walking on water thing...........I am stil;l drying the water out my ears. My FatAss went to the bottom
I did find out something......no matter what speed the salesman tells you subtract 10-12 mph for the truth.

Default Big mphs

I know where you are coming from with all the BS as to how fast the factory out the door boats are, but then, maybe they are and I just haven't seen them! I put a post in for the guys that have the 33s to let me in on the truth as to what the wet weight is and how fast a stock 33 really is. Maybe they will tell me, who knows... I'll let you know if I ever find out, I will hate to sell my 28 and then find out that the 33 really only go in the low 90s..
With the price that they are asking maybe I would be better off to save for awhile and buy a Skater!! But then its hard to beleive that there is that much money in the whole world... Come=on Big loto!!!
Talk to you later, eliminator219

eliminator219....once you hit the lottery...all the money will go to the boat and there will be nothing left for anything else. The prices are getting out of sight and ridiculous. Once I had my wife talked into going fo the dollar boat.........now it isn't what she wants..... SHE wants to go faster

have to keep editing...damn dumb computer.....WHAT ARE THEY GOOD FOR???
