Default Top speed on 25 daytona W/ 225 promax's

As the title says does anyone know/ can verify what a 2000 25 daytona will run with 225 o/b's... My friend has one and states it will do 95gps but will not let me anywhere near it with my gps lol. I ran and beat him with my awesome cat that has done 97gps, but he will not admit mine is faster

I have a 23 daytona with worn out omc 200's turning 28 pitch props and ran 80 on gps. I think with a pair of good 225 P/M 95 or 97 is possible. I had an Allison with a 225 P/M and would run 100 on gps.

I would expect 95 is very possible with a 25 and those engines. One person and light on fuel. A full load of people and fuel will have an effect on small cats with outboards. I have owned five multi engine outboards including a 24 Daytona with 260's that was over 110.

Skydog, it was an 2000 SS Comp. And I fudged a little it was 99.8

The 225 P/M had 32cc heads, PCU, oil injection removed, and casting seems in the intake side smoothed out, torque master with bobs nose cone, even with the pad, turning a 31 yamaha style prop. I believe that was at 7700 rpm. But can't remember rpm's off the top of my head
