Been looking at 33 daytona's and everyone I have found has one on there. I am guessing factory??

What I have read, almost all cats have some sort of porpose issues. Caused from air not being able to escape out the rear of the hull at slower speeds. The tab allows a little lift to raise the transom and allow air to escape. I am new to this and going off talking to a couple owners of cats so don't shoot the messenger
