also the 78 mph... thats with bunch of fuel, cooler, 2 people, anchors... full boat

Thank you very much daytona27, Very respectable speed for stock power and good info. Appreciate it! Any other scoop on the 27 pro or con would also be welcomed.

Take my advice.....it's just getting fun and packing air at 65-75 mph. Get one that runs at least 90.

yes, for 425hp it is respectable, just boring...i love my 27 icc... cons on the boat would be it doesnt have nearly the cabin room that my 26 icc had... but i like the extra height above the rubrail (deck) and the way eliminator designed the dash... more modern looking... and the engine room is harder to get into... (smaller hatch) my 26, the top of the seat came up with the hatch and it was the whole width of the rear... and easier to sit on... 27 slopes down...pros... more modern design, re-sale, ...( im sure you already know this, but the hulls of the 26 and the 27 are identical hulls) hope this helps you...

Sorry.... its been awhile since I replied to this thread, but I want to correct my last post....I meant the 27 does not have nearly the "COCKPIT" room as the 26...
