Default Older Style 27 Daytona ???'s

Was looking into an older model 27' Daytona, and had some questions. The boat was originally a twin sbc setup, and is now a twin o/b setup. Since there is no power on it right now I could really go eihter way. What I am wondering how do these hulls handle, and what kind of speeds can you get out of them? Is a single i/o an option? not looking for crazy speeds or anything like that right now, but would like to turn it up some down the road.
Thanks in advance.

A 27' with an 800 Teague will run 120 right off the trailer.
