Lookin good :drink: What power?

Re: Refinished 27 Flatdeck
powered with original 454 (330 hp.)
runs 60 mph. on gps. I have plans for a bigger motor but with only about three months of boating weather around here, I'm going to wait until winter to do the work. |

Re: Refinished 27 Flatdeck
If you look at the timing tab on each engine, and they are the same, most likely you have standard rotation engines. Reverse rotation engine has a different tab, as the damper (harmonic balancer) would be rotating the opposite direction. Or, crank engine and see which way it spins. Looking at engine from the front, std rotation spins clockwise, reverse spins counter-clockwise.
The drive would also be different for reverse rotation. The prop shaft has an "R" stamped in the end for reverse rotation drives. |
