1977 24 if anyone is interested
I just drove by this boat today and talked to the owner over the phone. It looks to be in fairly good condition with a quick look over the outside. It was raining so I did not get into it too much. I think he was asking $8500 OBO with a 454 and TRS drive. I think it would be a fun boat but I don't think I have the time to fix it up (but I would like to) Anyone know this boat?

I think it would be a blast to ride on but I don't think my wife would enjoy the white knuckle ride I suspect it would be. The interior looked real clean as well and I did not look at the cabin. It has sit down seats, has anyone ever made them into a stand up boat by modifying the floor? Or would sit down bolsters be the way to go? I don't know much about the TRS drive.

I've got one with covertable bolster seats. It originally was a retired race boat from the great lakes. It has a TRS and a 550 hp 504 I beat the livin snot out of it and have had no problems with the drive but, threw a rod last run last season motor is coming back as a 526. My girlfriend loves the thing and its a ton of fun and can definately bea white knuckle ride if you want it. From the pictures it looks as thou it has the original motor probably 330hp. I bought mine for $4,500 but it needed alot of work.

very nice boat, any more pics of the interior? Is it a 7' beam or 6.5'? I tapped on the sides of the boat and it sounded very hollow. Is this common? If so is this considered a lake boat or could it run in 2-4 footers? I am sure I will not make an offer but I am very interested in the older boats. I wish I had the means to buy it and restore it.
