Ok just started on this project.. yes glass work sucks but what really makes it bad is the previuos owner just had the transom replaced?? why he went with the same old TRS set-up who knows. Crapr6 have you gotten a chance to run urs?? Having debate where to put the X. Boat will have a 505ci with a M-3 Maybe 900hp whats Ur guys est. on speed? XR outback

Do what dip $hit said (excalibur82)

Set it high..its cheaper to put a drive spacer between the upper and lower unit if the x is to high compared to buying a shorty lower unit if the x was set to low..
