Trying to figure out how they did where the windshield went... as i have a 40 hawk as well

No pic, but here is what he says about the windshield:

"It just has vinyl wrapped wood over all edges where the old window was so i assume they just removed all mounting hardware and covered it."

It was done before he bought it.

The aluminum race fairing from my old one might be for sale, I think he's cutting the deck off and making it a cc
