Default Excalibur 27

Just signed up as a new member. I just purchased a 1982 Excalibur 27 and looking for any pics or info for the same. I saw talk of the 27's on here before I signed up and can't seem to find them anymore.

Only got to try the boat twice since I bought it because of the weather. It's cold up here in Ontario.

It's got a 454 w/TRS Drive 330HP. It needs some TLC and the trailer needs a paint job.

I think it'll be a good winter project. Not sure whether to totally redo it [upholstery & paint] or to detail the original. Alot of people said to leave it original. It's in great condition but it kind of gives away the age.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Sorry Matt, the boat's out of the garage and in storage for a little while until I get around to it. I didn't take any interior pics yet but when I take it out, I will post them.

picture 1 Dad the first day we brought the boat home... we only ran it a few times before the restore/paint started. Dad had an old standard Chevy junk truck and we races a supercharged mustang pulling the boat home.... we had him until 3rd gear and the mustang ran a light to not be embarassed again by the old junker... the truck motor wasn't a junker... just the body and we were pulling a boat

picture 2 begin graphics

pic3 and so on just painting.

I just found these pics last night in a storage box... they have been lost since 1998

the artist that used to do all of our paintwork ... was a good friend... he commited suicide the day we all went and picked out the paint colors for this boat..... so it took us a while to get back to the painting the boat after that.....
