ocassionaly i will see a thread on how to identify what Kevlar looks like and thought i would post some pics. this is an older Excaliber that i have in the shop for some glasswork. this pic shows what it looks like when you take a grinder to it. it basically knocks the resin out of the fibers leaving it all fuzzy and somewhat intact. there is no mistaking kevlar when you grind it, fuz fuz fuz.

nice lookin project Brian. your Eliminator is bad ass, a good friend of mine here in toledo specializes in jets. hes got a 115 mph drag boat thats pretty nuts. heres his old Hydrodyne deck boat that we use for the island taxi

Thanks..On the smaller lakes I boat on here ....acceleration is everything.....
By the time the heavy stern drive boys see the horizon again.....Im a half mile away.....
and you are right about the fuzz...
