I've seen the Awlgrip wax before but never used it. Can someone explain if it is really a wax in the sense that you put it on and then buff it off ?
I'm sure that I've seen it described as some sort of 'polymer treatment' that leads me to think you just wipe it on like Armourall...

I agree with Dave about the machine sand vs water because a grit of dirt will do lots of damage and the time savings are worth the cost. I haven't seen AwlGrip repaired perfectly in a dark color, but AwlCraft is easier to work with. The last I will say is if you want to buff AwlGrip, clear coat it and do it within 48 hours. After that , don't do it! I personally will chose another paint before I would buff out any US Paints, they are made to use as painted.

You apply the wax like any other wax. I apply it by hand and then when it dries to a haze, I polish it off by hand. On the container it mentions it is to be applied by hand only no machine. I have used a machine polisher before to remove the wax and had no problems. I just would'nt wait to long after it dries to a haze because it can be a pain in the ass to remove. That is when I used a machine.
