Glassdave,

We spoke about this awhile back. My swim platform is slippery when wet. Do you think you could match the Red color on my 38ZX. I would like to get just "DONZI" proportionately. Thanks Ted.

I hear ya, I have the exact same boat and yea the factory non skid dosent cut it. At this time unfortunatly i can only get it in black but i think i may be able to get white soon. The Donzi font i have so cutting it is no problem.

Actually its not to bad Jay. My plotter is a Graphtec FC5100-100 so i just slowed the blade speed down to just about nuthin and maxed the pressure. Works pretty good and this material in 100% vinyl with no sand or grit added so basically its like cutting a thick film like some of the clear bra materials. pretty grippy stuff to.

You know what? The White might be OK because it really won't stand out. Do you think it would eventually start looking dirty? Let me know when you get it. Thanks Ted.

BTW - My swim platform is even worse than the factory non-skid because I had ALL the white gel coat above the rub rail painted and clearcoated. Trust me - I have had so many people fall off the back (including myself) at raft-ups it isn't funny -- well it is kinda funny

Cool. I was under the (mistaken) assumption that there was sand or some particulate in the material. Same technique for cutting sandblast frisket- slow speed and lots of downforce. Seems like this stuff would have lots of apps for boats. Who makes it?

Graphtec makes some nice equipment- I've got an FC7000MK2-130 at the shop... Been very happy with it.
