Pettit Vivid Antifouling
Has anyone had experience with a brighter color of this antifouling paint? I keep my boat in a slip so I paint my bottom yearly, and have always just used black. Its always kind of bugged me when I see the boat on plane in pics or whatever. I am wondering what this Pettit Vivid would look like if I painted the bottom white with it. Using white antifouling paint seems like it would still show some scum, but I guess I'm not sure. Anyone had any experience?

I have it on mine and i docked it all summer. It still gets a little scummy but cleans off easy and I think it don't look neer as bad as bottom paint.

To apply Use a sponge roller to apply for a smooth brush free appearance, and only use a brush to cut into those tight corner edges. Please Note: Sorry for some reason I don't see the attachment button to up load the pic's I wanted to show, I guess its because i'm not a paying member? |
