Is $600 a fair price

$600 for those (2)small chips is way too high. A gelcoat chip kit is way to go. Worse part will be matching shade of purple. But just take your time.

I think I'll go with kit and pick Glass Dave's mind as much as I can, if i goof it up, then I'll pay the higher price.

I paid a local guy $170 to do a couple of nicks on the bottom. One was bad enough I wanted it done before I splashed, but only about dime size too.

I did get the right color match and mfg. for him. He did a great job, don't even see it.
