My custom 32 skater paint
Paint on my 32 skater
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Been working hard on boat , brought in Freddie from Killer Kreations from Phila to work with us on Graphics, well known @ Sema , every cycle mag cover as well as the tonight show . Also about to launch his own TV show . Here is a sample of some of his work as well as a link to his website . Sure there are plenty of good guys out these but look @ his work and you judge , truly one of the best . One of the pics is a rough idea what were doing on skater
Also in process of painting clamps and mids

here a few pics of the start in 08 to 2012
I bought this 88 Skater 32 as a baskit case , made a one off fiberglass console as well as hatch and motor well all of which I made molds and layed up myself . We painted the entire boat top and bottom with custom mixed yellow

Notice " Skater logo " in hatch as it would have been too easy to apply a decal , I made the logo out fibrglass and then painted it for a 3D look , a ton of work . No visable screws or hinges anywhere on hatch . The hatch was designed and built myself and layed up with vinylester resin . All graphics are carried onto underside of both hatches and cooler door as shown below

Larry,
What type of wood did you use to build the center console?.....what type of glass is layed up on it?...what fairing putty did you use? ...I hope to fabricate a new dash and console oneday.
Those hidden hinges are one of the best lifting systems I've seen around...........they look like a very marketable piece of equipment.......great all around custom work on the Skater!

Thanks ! I may ad those hinges to my other products I make in future as well as a resonable priced heads up display that is very much like stainless marine but much cleaner looking .
The console as well as hatch use zero wood , one off custom mold I built using MDF , then PVA ( mold release ) Gelcoat then layup . I have A 1000 dollars in material Alone to build hatch ( Vinylester resin , glass and balsa )
