Default Small repair... Help!

I am not very savvy with this stuff. So how would I go about fixing a small rope rub like this?

Looks like the clear is burned through. If your not real savvy with rubbing out or painting etc you should take to a shop. I doubt the cost would be much. Without seeing it in person it's difficult to say. Probably gonna need to spot spray clear back over the area and blend, buff or even try brushing on some clear going a little beyond the area and buff.

Looks for a good place to put OSO decal to me. Lol

Do you know or are you able to find history of boat regarding finish on it?

Just see if you can find out what paint system was used on it if possible? Base coat clear coat. A paint code would be nice also just in case you have another mishap where you might need to match that color. We all have those oops moments from time to time.

You might even be able to mix a little compound with some polish and just concentrate in that area and really reduce it also. Even if u tape off the surrounding area so u don't get swirl marks much beyond and then wax after. Worth a try.
