Box is Gone And GGB's are on!!
 

Ok, Finally took off the silent thunder box and went with the GGb extreme transom mount mufflers, What a difference in appearence and sound!! Was about a 3 hour job removing the tips and installing the mufflers, As luck would have it the screw holes for the tips were the same pattern as the studs on the mufflers so only had to drill thru the screw holes thru the transom and bolt on the ggb's, Even with the built in reversion valve i went with salsbury flaps also.

No loss of rpm's and no loss of speed, But a loss of weight off the back of the boat and a nice rumble to keep the noise police away!!!

Don't worry they are going to be all over Paul and his new Cig. That thing is UNREAL!!!!! I could hear him loud and clear from my land :eek: :eek:

Audio, Paul and Kurt launched the cig saturday while i was waxing the 312, and yes, Paul is going to have issues definatly, I am sure neil will be stopping by to see him :( :(

Troutly, Yes i did have a reading taken last year by the game warden when i had the box off with just the tips, 3' back and 3' up was 101 db we are allowed 90 db here, I am confident that it will be less then 90 or so because it is not a whole lot louder with the mufflers then it was with the silent thunder box, :D :D

Troutly, I did not get one with the box on, Unfortunatly, The warden was not interested, But i got his attention when i took it off :eek: :eek:
