I never used the shorepower on this boat...I guess with power I could at least rig up fan. I do have bug screens for the hatch.
Does the portable A/C fit in one of the hatches? That sounds pretty slick.

Yeah , then it has a cover to go around it to seal out bugs and/or weather. Plug it into the outlet by the sink and turn it on. It's quiet and you could store meat in there

Just FYI...I called Great Oak Landing Lodge and their rooms are booked for the weekend...no surprise I guess. Wife is "apprehensive" about sleeping on the boat with no AC and small cabin. Which might be helpful in my plot to buy a bigger boat.

I'm outta here - See you guys there. Look for a 382 Fas3Tech named "Me, Too!" with silver sides (Flagship style) and the A/C running.....

Couple of pictures.
We arrived Saturday afternoon so we missed the ride up from Red Eyes and the photo shoot. Had a great time. Looking forward to next year's event.
We slept on the boat and it was tight! I'm thinking that a SunSport 330 might be a better fit for us.

Couple more pictures.
We left early this morning (in the fog) to get to a company picnic. The Bay was smooth and I ran 40mph from Fairlee Creek to the West River...it was a nice 35 mile cruise. Of course the big boats do that all day long but with the 242 you need fairly calm water to go 40 on the bay.
