Black Dash

Re: Black Dash
I'm planning on "padding" mine and finishing with white vinyl--maybe yellow--or even Ultraleather--the knockoff ultraleatehr from Majic
Nothing will bring the worst parts of my black dash on 1986 SR357 and I could have paid for the job twice with all the "miracle" chemiclas I've bought. |

Re: Black Dash
WOW ... 107 m.p.h. at only 1400 r.p.m. I wonder how fast that thing is at W.O.T.! :D

Re: Black Dash
Let's see...If I did the math right (from the speedo post) that would be:
107mph at 134.072 psi |

Re: Black Dash
I used 303 on an old boat and it came out well, but a little shiny.

Re: Black Dash
the black dash should just be black gel coat right.?? my boat has major black gel on the hull sides and the dash is all black.
have you tried cutting cream, finess it II, and then wax? or try wet sanding first? (maybe in a small section) then the 3 step process after that? I am lucky. my boat stayed out of the sun most of its non running life and the dash is beautiful still. only wax it once a year and dust it before every trip. the hull sides....... that's another story... :o) Ramb |
Re: Black Dash
If it's just your dash you may consider painting it with Imron, and then just waxing from here on out too.
