Re: Weight of a 1987 35'
It's like 15,300 with NO!!!! fuel or water or gear. I'm right below the rating for my truck. A little rain while towing and I'm probably screwed.

Re: Weight of a 1987 35'
I wonder how much of that is the boat and how much is the trailer. I actually thought it would be heavier than that on the trailer. I'll bet my 357 alone weighs close to 10,000.

Re: Weight of a 1987 35'
Formula says the boat is 10300. Don't know about the trailer. I need to weigh it alone. You getting a new boat?

Re: Weight of a 1987 35'
Cool link. I see 19,200 for the Dually with 4.30s. I think that must have been what I was thinking instead of 19,800.
Al - Yeah I would love to get a Fastech. I've really been wrestling with the idea of selling the 357 or not. If I can do it quickly, easlily and relatively painlessly then I will let her go. If it's a pain to sell then I'll probably end up keeping her and just spend some coin on updates. I love how much room is in the older Formulas like ours. But, I also like the idea that if I had the kind of power that's in my 357 in a new 353 I'd be going 10 mph faster. |
