Hey Guys... Just got back from the Bay after a LONG 2 days in the engine room (alright compartment). Changed valve springs, retainers, locks, plugs, cap, rotor, oil sender on starboard side, oil and filters. I can describe this process in one easy word....Co**Su***r, you fill in the rest!

She runs great (as she did before), but I'm glad I did it now and not at the end of the season. Found 2 broken inner springs on the starboard side. Must have happened recently, no parts missing and no other damage.

Look forward to visiting the Pond soon.

Company was GREAT Saturday night and the frozen drink machine finally ran out! No waste, that's what I like. Nothing hurts the next morning to have to toss booze! I think that qualifies for alcohol abuse. Every Saturday night it runs, except this comming, we will be on a 7 day cruise to Montreal and then back thru Ottawa and Kingston. Will be back the following Friday for Bay fun and Boat Drinks on Saturday the 6th!

Talk at you all when we get back. I'll post some pictures of Chillin' with the Bimini and camper top up. Hmmm I wonder who will have a comment on that?

Later,
Dave

Axa,
Glad you got 'er done!! Sounds like it was a worthwhile exercise since you found some broken inners. Gotta make you feel better about it now, eh? And, I can relate to the "fill in the blank explitive"

Hope your cruise around the Canadian block goes nicely. Take lots of pics.

Dave

3rd,

Sounded like you were having fun Sat. We're back in the boathouse at Abay. Finally got to see Axa's new ride, very nice, the amenities abound and the motors look cool. Didn't see Rip all weekend, all that was there was some very uniformly placed shoes on the dock, (don't know when he started wearin' pump sandals though?) Let The Boat House Drama Commence!

That's funny, the only hair on the carpet I saw was short, curly, and blonde. No doubt part of the pre boarding checklist

Isn't PhotoShop amazing? How you got those engine chainfalls out of the picture is amazing. Everyone knows you can't actually get that much of a pig boat like that out of the water.
