In this article, they procharged a 400ss w/ 502 mags, and it went 66mph.
http://www.procharger.com/M_profiles.shtml

I'm guessing that the Merc 600's would be in the same ballpark.

The Procharged 502 s were rated at 700 PHP (Procharger Horsepower)

With Bravos, the appropriate question is "how far?"

A 400SS with 525's runs up to 59-60 mph on smooth water with the wind and 5 people. With these 600's, the xtra 7-8 mph costs almost 5K per each MPH over the 525's. I am not sure if the leap is worth it??

I guess if you have the cash........

RedDog, you are correct. we just sold a 06' 400ss with 525s, with an arch, but no hardtop the boat ran 63mph gps first time out. 1 person and 100gal of fuel.

Formula website says "to over 60 m.p.h." with 600's.

based on the number "Juked" mentioned - The 525's seem to be the value then at 63mph- Just don't take a party out with you at speed and the twin 525s will keep within eye sight of the twin 600's until both are out fuel. Sounds like a 5-7mph difference.
