Dustin, this George guy was recommended to me through a friend of mine that got his name and no. from Formula. Just thought you might want to know that since you have been talking to Formula. Propwash.

Talked to Formula today and was refered to Water Bonnett the manufacturer for my glass. Ryan at Formula gave me the part number too. Water Bonnett in turn refered me back to George at Marine Glass Specialty who I have a call into.

The day your windshield broke, was the temp real high?
Weather bright and sunny??
Did you by chance drive into a cool area just before it shattrered????
I've seen similar occurances like this before. The glass gets real hot, then you suddenly drive into a cool air zone and...POW!...it shatters.
Had an old pair of glasses that had glass lenses. Same thing happened while they were on my face.

I know you are on the East Coast but there is always the option of replacing the Aluminum Framed Windshield with a low profile Windshield. At times it does require the boat in house, but sometimes we can create the pattern off your old one. Call Wayne-Earl Mfg. (714) 577-0632.
