382 Poker Run Special
What do you the guys and gals that own one of those 382 Poker Run Specials with the 4 bolsters think of the four bolster set up? Do the back two bolsters get in the way? Please advise.

Re: 382 Poker Run Special
Pretty cool setup for Poker Runs. We did a run in ours with 8 people,4 in the bolsters and 4 in the back seat. Sure it is a little cramped but would be hard to do 8 with the standard set-up. And for other situations it's pretty easy to remove or replace the 2nd set of bolsters, only a few bolts.

Re: 382 Poker Run Special
I've ridden on a couple of the six-pack Poker Run/Pace Boats as an official with GLSCS and OSS. I personally don't care for the set-up. It really limits your ability to move around in the cockpit. I've had 10 people in my 311 cockpit before and could move around easier than 5 people in a six-pack 382 cockpit (OK ... so 7/10 were female). There is just not enough room to move around or even sit comfortably in the rear seat. Just not what I'm looking for in pleasure boating.
My '99 382 Poker Run Special has the traditional lay-out.

Re: 382 Poker Run Special
The boat is VERY NICE. Love the graphics and the engine package. Make your best deal and buy the boat. You won't be disappointed. Then take out the rear bolsters and footrests, and glass the floor back in (or design a bracket to bolt in place to keep your cooler secure)!
I took the photo that's on the Formula website and I also have video of the boat leading the parade lap during the GLSCS/OSS race in St. Clair, MI this year.
