Gary is still in the hospital as of Monday the 3rd. We don't know when he'll be going home.

Hey Guys,
I got out the hospital on Thursday after spending a week there. I have a one vertebrae with 3 fractures and pretty much broke every bone and tendon in my left hand. I have to wear a back brace unless I'm lying down flat on my back for the next 3 months. I have 9 pins, an internal plate and screws and external hardware on my left wrist and hand (good thing I'm right handed). I also have a small fracture in my neck but it is not significant. All that for falling 5 ft. backwards off of a ladder and landing on a concrete floor. So I'll be out of work for at least 3 months. I sold my 271 about a month ago so I'm all set on winterizing but I'm still shopping for the next boat, I guess that will be from the computer for now. Thanks for the offers of help.

Good to hear you are back home. I take it the injuries won't hamper your boating! At least you picked the right time of the year to lay up!

Glad you are ok. Now about that larger boat..... How much larger is it going to be now
