This is pretty strange..Carlos also had one pop open...just ahead of mine?? I assumed mine was left unlatched from the shop...and possibly one of Carlos kids left his unlatched...but now yours...all 3 382's had hatches pop up coming back...WTF!!

How did the color sanding turn out? What kind of $$$ did they charge you?

The other bent the hinges.

Called Formula they had me contact mfgr direct...these hatches list for $600 each!!! Fortunatly they had one in "over stock" for $160!! Hinges are $30 ea. and arm asssbly $40

The moral of the story is ...BATTEN DOWN THE HATCHES!!!

it turned out pretty good...you can still see a color difference in certain light.......but all in all it looks good white. I am still thinking on what to go back with. I am leaning towards something similar to Cspray...maybe a tweaking something from the SS broshure??

He charged me $2800 for the color sanding and graghic's removal

It's really not hard to do, just don't start out with too heavy of a sandpaper.

I'm seriously considering doing that to Outlaw......

The hard part is making everything match, colorwise, after you've sanded the color off. It's BRIGHT white under there and of course the white on the boat is duller. So you have to end up sanding the entire boat.

Again, the whole key is TAKING IT NICE AND EASY.....
