336 has more cabin head room than a 311. Cabin in a 336 is huge. Personally, I prefer the lines of the older ones. I really don't like the integrated platfoms.

hey, that's my boat.....The 336 has a lot more freeboard than the 311 which gives it more room in the cabin, engine compartment and cockpit. It is a great boat. Didn't have much time to use mine last year. It is still officially for sale but not advertising now. Will advertise it in the spring and make the decision then as to keep it or not. Insurance with State Farm is $680 per year.

I had my 311 parked on the trailer right next to a 336 before. I was surprised that the 336 was a little wider, but the deck seemed much taller. I thought they were basically the same boat, but with the attached platform, and the post-1992 way of measuring things. Formula definitely made some changes in the hull for sure. Unfortunately I never got to go for a ride, so I don't know if there is a difference in ride.

Does anyone know how these two boats differ as far as cabin size, cockpit size, engine compartment size, performance and ride?
