what did you use on the engine cover for backing? I took my water soaked cushions off yesterday . they are toast so its a complete rebuild and recover.

I know you were not asking me, but I will throw my opinion in anyways.... :whistle:

I used the old foam with new vinyl over new plywood. All told I redid my engine hatch for less than $100 and I think it looks great. If you want a low cost do it yourself approach, look at mine. If not, well, please do not insult me too much.... :lolhit:

Page 7 post 62 and 63. Later I also redid some of the seat cushions. Earlier I had refinished the vinyl on my bucket seats.

Yup bin there, we have the compressor, air stapler and stainless staples. we did the interior of our 36 sport fisher but needed people with a heavy duty sewing machine for the seams.

No seams on mine needed to be sewn, true cheap-o! My kids are not that good looking anyways, so I figured no one would notice the seats...... :cartman:
